Question by killa vanilla: What is with 2, 3, 4 way speakers in cars?!?
okay so on ebay when it says a pair of 3 ways or 4 ways 6″x9″ speakers what does that mean, does it mean i will get 2 6″x9″ speakers or ill get 1 and a tweeter and mid range? i don’t want that i want 2 6″x9″ for my car

A two way speaker will have two separate speakers together in one package.That way you can increase the detail of the sound without adding any ‘new’ speaker holes. The two ( or three or four ) separate speakers will be wired together thru a cross over network, all mounted in one frame.
