Question by : Best amp for my speakers?
I just bought some 6-1/2″ Infinity Kappa 62.9is for my front door and some of the same thing in 6x9s for my rear speakers. I was looking at the Alpine MRP-F300 for my amp but i am new to all this so i was wondering if this amp would be the best possible solution for me. The 6-1/2″ has a 2-75 watts rms with a 225 peak and the 6×9 has 2-110 watt rms with a 330 peak. I also bought the avh-p3300bt head unit witch has a built-in MOSFET amp (14 watts RMS CEA-2006/50 peak x 4 channels). Some let me know the best possible amp for me. Thanks

Best answer:

Answer by Morgan Davis
Since the front speakers are rated at 75 watts, you shouldn’t really go over that, but under a little bit is fine. Boston Acoustics makes an amp that runs 70 watts RMS @ 4ohm x 4 channels (GTA-704). Boston makes a really nice amp and it’s not expensive either.

Question by crzy_carmello: Car speakers…???? speaker issues!!! gahhh?
Okay I have an aftermarket radio and speakers in my car no sub/amp.
My speakers have randomly started popping/crackling.
Also the music well it sounds like its skipping like a cd skips, but its actually the speakers “skipping” the audio is playing but the speakers go in and out. So its like sound, no sound, sound, no sound(sounds like cd skips but most definitely isnt)

So whats wrong? How can I fix it?

Best answer:

Answer by kingofplanking
either there is a bad connection behind the cd player, the amp on the cd player is going out, or your speakers are blown. if your speakers are still factory then most likely they are blown.

What do you think? Answer below!
